Account and Data Deletion — EmergenSea
EmergenSea (developed by ETernus Code doo) allows you to request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
How to delete your account
From the app:
1. Open the EmergenSea app and log in.
2. Go to Profile → Delete Account.
3. Confirm. Your account and data will be deleted as described below.
If you no longer have the app installed:
Send a deletion request from your registered email address to emergensea.help@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account". We will verify your identity and process the deletion.
What data is deleted
Upon a confirmed request, we delete personal data associated with your account, including:
- Your profile data (name, email address, phone number, address)
- Your vessel data
- Your saved locations and points of interest
- Your history of SOS calls and notifications in the app
What we keep and for how long
We may retain a limited set of records where necessary for legal, accounting or fraud prevention purposes (for example, transaction records or membership history). These records
are kept for [retention period - e.g. up to 11 years as required by the Accounting Act] and then permanently deleted. They are not used for any other purpose.
